In Matthew 7:12  Jesus commanded us to treat people the same way that we would want to be treated. No follower of Jesus wants to spend eternity in Hell, and by the same rule, we should also not want anyone else to spend eternity in Hell. When we, as Christians hold the key to the the eternal destiny of lost people, we have a moral duty to tell them about Christ, and to proclaim Christ  in such a way that causes them to know that He is real.  For too long the church has asked the world to believe in our God, but we have not shown them that our God is real, that He answers prayer and still does miracles today. Much of the world is just  like doubting Thomas, and they say, "I will not believe in Jesus unless you prove Him to me."  Jesus rebuked Thomas for his unbelief, but in the same breath He also gave Thomas the proof that He asked for.  Jesus had compassion on Thomas and gave him what he needed to believe. We must have compassion on the world and give the world what they need to believe. We need to give them the undeniable love and power of God. Look at what the Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 2:2-5, After  preaching the gospel on Mars Hill without the miracle power of God and without results. "For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. 3  And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. 4  And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: 5  That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God."  Paul made a determination that He was going to preach the gospel so that people's faith in Christ would rest on the power of God and not on man's wisdom or a clever speech.

I want to encourage you to make a commitment to share Jesus with the  lost people of the world for a lifetime. When you leave this earth, what will your life speak from the grave? Sharing Jesus is a lifetime commitment.  Whether you share Jesus with your next door neighbor,  with someone at the super market, or during a missions trip to a distant land. The great commission was a perpetual command, not a one time event.

Ask yourself, what you can do to begin sharing Jesus now?  Here are three ways you can start

1. Make a commitment to pray for the lost and the increase of laborers to reach them.

2. Make a commitment to learn. You can preach the gospel in word and power, learn How.

3. Make a commitment to regularly give financial support to those who preach the gospel
